April Birchbox Inspires a DIY Spa Night

Are you wondering why I am pointing to the sky? Well, I haven't figured out how to pick what the thumbnail is yet. Sorry! And the reason I am doing this is because I am telling you to subscribe to the YouTube channel! When you are playing the video there is a little subscribe button, click it.

Ok, that is the end of that lecture. This video is to show you what I got in my Birchbox. My (cutest doggie in the world), bff Jasmine, joins me as cohost.


This Birchbox inspired a full on Saturday DIY Spa Night. I used everything that I got in here and I LOVE everything. My favorites are the eye cream and the firming day cream. Ah, LOVE.

In addition to these products, I also used my DIY hair mask and body scrub that I was telling you about in this post about Coconut Oil. *Disclaimer---If you slather your entire body in coconut oil in the evening, then attend a hot yoga class wearing shorts the next morning, you WILL be super slippery like a greased pig. My suggestion...wear pants.

I even polished my nails and gave myself a nice foot massage. A DIY mani/pedi is better that nothing. I will be the first to admit that I am not amazing at doing my nails. You can see my nail video here.  Don't worry, I know this is the ugliest color in the world but I did better last night with OPI's I think in Pink.

    I never heard of Birchbox before your postings, Emily! Now I am super interested in possibly signing up, and I even Googled/researched it after I saw your videos. It looks like a whole lot of fun to get in a box! :)

    I feel like I am a member of a very elite club now. Birchbox makes you wait forever before you are aloud in. I think it is a mental game and it totally worked on me. I wouldn't know about this little pink box if it wasn't for the lovely Emily's blog.
