Fabulous Friday

My days off tend to be (either never) or random mid week days. Tuesday is often my "Saturday". Given my  ever changing schedule and Saturday's being the toughest day of the week for me, I am rarely ever signing TGIF!

But for the last few weeks, since I have been linking with From My Grey Desk blog for the High Five for Friday posts, this has become the post I get most excited about. I hope you enjoy this week's high fives!

#1. Wallet Update!

yep, the same on i mentioned last week!

I LOVE this blue wallet that Nell got me for my birthday in either 2005 or 2006. Lately I have had so much stuff crammed into it that I thought the clasp was broken but that was not the case. Now that it is empty, it closes just fine. Nell buys the best presents,  I got a good 5 years of non stop use out of this puppy.

My favorite mother in law sent me the black one this week, to match my handbag. Even though she shipped it on Sunday, I semi-joked that this could be my congratulations gift for winning the Smashbox contest that wasn't announced until Monday. This positive thinking was exactly what tipped the scales and brought me the the WIN! The full update on that is here.

#2. New York, NEW YORK!!!

Next week I am excite to attend an event that is being put on by Fitness magazine. This is a by invitation only blogger meet up and they invited ME! I'm so excited. I can't wait to tell you all about it! I will be there next week.

What is even more awesome, is this little trip gives me a great reason to see some long lost pals. Can't wait to see you Jen & Jill! Thanks for hosting me!

#3. AGAIN!

The week after the Fitness event in New York, will be the Likeable Awards. I am a finalist for Most Likeable Video Blogger. I think the voting goes on for about 10 more days and I could use all the support I can get! Here is a full post on how to vote!

#4. Another 10K

Jeff and I are doing another 10k this weekend. I have been a little under the weather and working a ton lately, so I am little worried since I haven't run a single step since the last 10k about 5 weeks ago. Its ok, what I lack in speed, I make up for in style, as you can see here. 

#5 I can't wait to meet my new friend!

One of my favorite people in the world is about to have a baby! This is one active baby and Jasmine is feeling him/her kick. I can not wait to meet this little person soon.
