High Five. The NYC Edition

Photobucket

Its Friday, so we are linking with Lauren over at From My Grey Desk blog.

This week is the H54F NYC Edition. Enjoy!

#1. Fitness Magazine Meet and Tweet
I don't know why Instagram (Im star stylist) flipped this photo when I added the filter, but whatever, I think it is cute.  And clearly I was just excited to be invited to such an amazing event. Don't judge my hair, I schlepped there in the rain.

#2. Celebrity Crush
This is me and THE Laura Geller. So cool! Not only is she an incredible makeup artist but such a funny chick too. An excellent combo, if I do say so myself. I picked up some great tips from her discussion that I can't wait to share in my full post dedicated to her. #MUAlove. Geez, I can't stop with the hashtags.

#3.Holy Swag Bags
The sponsors of this event really hooked it up. A full detailed post, and maybe even a video love fest are coming soon. Isn't the bag the cutest!  I did manage to do a tiny recap yesterday. And yes, I got 2 pair of shoes, 2 water bottles, Oakley shades and SO much more. How on earth did I get this back to Richmond? Oh, and not in this photo, is my awesome new yoga mat.

#4 The Journey

It was a whirl wind adventure, just like I like it. I left Richmond, VA at 9am on Tuesday and got home at 1am on Thursday morning. No, wonder I am tired! But it was so worth it!

I have said it before but I am SO grateful for this experience and being able to meet incredible bloggers and influencers in the fitness and beauty community.  I also got a chance to catch up with some great friends that I had not seen in FAR too long and I am so mad that we didn't take a photo! Well, I plan to be back next week for the Likeable Awards and we can do it then.

#5 Home Sweet Home...for now.
And I am reunited with this lovely lady. My BFF Jasmine. I don't have the heart to break it to her that I am traveling again next week.

Oh, and  bonus for good measure...

Jeff and I did the Carytown 10k on Sunday. Even though I hadn't run AT ALL since the Monument 10k 5 weeks before, I managed to shave a minute off my time. I found this to be impressive considering my lack of training, it was raining and had more hills that I expected.

Oh, yeah, I am #343. How long has it been since my shorts were shorter than Jeff's on race day? #hewearsshortshorts
Haha, I can't stop with the hashtags. Dang, TweetUp!

How was your week? What do you have planned for the weekend? I put this fun little comment box down here so you can tell me all about it. DO IT.
