Well, this is a big one. This one is a big step and we decided that this big step called for a fun makeover. And this makeover, inspired a give away! Make sure to enter. You can win my new favorite styling product and a set of makeup brushes from the Body Shop.
Meet my friend, Susan. She is a soon to be new mom, and a first timer. Susan is also an entrepreneur, a photographer, and she works very hard. She is not an overly glammed out lady. She doesnt wear a ton of makeup and doesn't fuss with her hair too much. She is pretty natural.
There were a couple of reasons that Susan felt she needed these changes. First, she knows that her life is about to change drastically so she wants to make sure that she is making things like her hair, as easy as possible. The other thing that was important, is that Susan get the confidence boost that will probably be really useful when she enters into her life as a new mom. I know if it were me, I would be doing quite a bit of faking it til you make it and I would want to look good while doing it.
Alright! This is step one of the makeover process. We had our consultation and now we have stepped away to start the cut and color process. Before the big reveal, we thought it would be fun to have a little contest and give you a prize!

ReplyDeleteSo, I commented, and then somehow I deleted it??? Anyway, as I was saying... I am a sucker for a good makeover story, so I can't wait to see how it turns out! I am thinking maybe shoulder length or a little above to show those gorgeous natural waves (jealous), and maybe a little brightening around the face? Idk.. I'm not a good guesser. Can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteI want to see some guesses for how many inches she loses. I think it's going to be a shocker!
ReplyDeleteThe suspense is going to get me. Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteHi Emily!!! I LOVE make-overs too! :) Can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are going to love it! I can't wait for the big reveal!
DeleteI will guess 13... because I think her hair is probably a lot longer than I can tell in the vid! :)
ReplyDeleteOooh good guess! Keep them coming. Anyone have any predictions to what the end result would be?
Deletei'm guessing six inches!!!
ReplyDeleteI seriously can not wait for the big reveal!
ReplyDeleteShe has a pretty face so chop, chop, chop! You know I'm partial to short hair :)
ReplyDeleteOh, we chopped. You will love it! Such a young and sassy look!
DeleteI love a makeover! Can't wait to see since she's already so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see it shoulder length, maybe a little shorter in the back. Oh, and red. Just a hit of red. Wow!
ReplyDeleteI think a above the shoulder bob. Color I'm guessing blonde highlights.

ReplyDeleteMakeovers are so much fun! Excited to see the results :)
ReplyDeleteI love makeovers! Especially by the incredible Emily Hudspeth (Greenwald) haha! Can't wait to see the end result!
ReplyDeleteAren't they fun! I had a dream that I got the same haircut last night and it was SO cute. I think Im next!
ReplyDeleteAwesome as always!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think you cut off at least 18 inches. Her hair looks long and I am guessing you gave her a cut just a bit longer than the chin.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 12 inches. Maybe another locks of love donation? Can't wait to see the reveal.
ReplyDeleteI love your guesses. I have to say, I was super shocked when we measured it!
