Bare Escentuals has a few new products to debut in July. There will be a preview event in the boutiques on July 12 and 13 so you can check it out! The three new products will be The Stroke of Light (that I am going to tell you more about now), a new cream concealer and an illuminating pen.
Because I have the greatest intern on the planet (yay for Ms. Sara Ballout!), she totally hooked me up with a little sneak preview sample of the Stroke of Light. How amazing is that? Of course, she does everything 10x more than just awesome, she called over to the store and got some details for us to share with you.
For those of you who are following me on Instagram (get to it if you are not! *emilyhudspeth*) you may have seen this photo I posted last night of the product.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What it is:
The Stroke of Light Eye Brightener is used for under eyes and fines lines to give an illuminating effect immediately and over time.
Ingredients:
Anti-aging peptides
Yeast extract blend
Mineral Jade & Pearl
The peptides & yeast extract is what reduces appearances overtime and immediately. The jade & pearl provides luminosity and softness to the skin.
Formulated without:
Parabens
Synthetic fragrances
Artificial oils
Preservatives
Talc
This product is ophthalmologist tested and is great for sensitive eyes and contact wearers.
To use:
Use doe foot applicator to apply and pat (with fingers or a brush) to blend. The wand helps to make touch ups a breeze. It can be used before foundation for eyes and after for extra concealing.
Only disadvantage: (this is Sara's opinion)
no SPF
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, no SPF is a disadvantage if this is all you are wearing. I always wear moisturizer with SPF and BB Cream or foundation. I urge you to do the same! I have been testing out these samples for the past couple of days and so far I love it! It has a light to medium coverage. If you give it a second between applications, you can do 2 layers. If you want more coverage, blend some foundation over the top. It feels amazing!
Sara has tried the other 2 products, the cream concealer and the pen. She tells me that the concealer is full coverage and very long lasting but also lightweight and doesn't cake up. The illuminating pen is like those old school twist up lip glosses. It is very light light coverage and meant to draw light around the eyes. I can't wait to try these and tell you what I think.
Hmm, now that I think about it, don't you think we need a YouTube video to demo these products? How about a give away?!?!?! Leave me a comment if you would like to see a giveaway of these products on the blog? I will see what I can do.
Oh, did you enter to win the French horn comb? There is still time!n HERE!

I'm a big fan of bare minerals products. I love their new(ish) pressed eye shadows. The colors are beautiful and they don't tend to crease as much as others I have used. Will definitely be trying some of the new products!
ReplyDeleteTracy, you will LOVE these. I am working on getting a giveaway going asap!
