Last week I was on a mission. Mission: Small Business by Chase and Living Social. First I want to say a HUGE thank you to all of the people who voted, I know it was a pain. An ongoing HUGE thank you to the people who have always given me amazing support along my journey of building this empire. It warms my heart and gives me the strength to put on my big girl panties and keep going when I want to quit. That has been particularly important since the last few weeks have felt more like Mission Impossible that anything else.
I did the best that I could and I am proud of my efforts. I mean, this video alone is proof that I am willing to put it all out there to make something happen.
A few people have touched base today and asked if I made the goal. I am honestly not 100% sure. The last time I checked we had 10 hours to go and I was at the halfway mark. I wouldn't say that it is impossible to have gotten an additional 125 votes in the last 10 hours, but I think I may have fallen a bit short. Now that it is over, they don't let you see the final number of votes.
Like I said last week, I will not quit. I had so many pep talks last week that the fight must go on, so it will. So today, I am back to writing and editing and putting some new ideas in action. Some of you remember my personal blog. I had gotten so busy in the last year that I had put it down for a minute (or a year and a half.) but I think it is time to tell you some stories about my insane behind the scenes personal/family life. Who is interested? I may have to write it anonymously or rename some of the characters. I doubt those characters that I don't have the nicest things to say about would ever read it, so Im pretty safe. Who's up for story time? Because I will be happy to tell you wall about who rules this roost.
