What to expect for Fall Fashion

It is so weird to me that it is already time to talk about Fall. I guess summer is approaching its end. The kids are going back to school and we will be enjoying the Labor Day weekend soon enough. That's ok because Fall is really my favorite season.

Mostly because I LOVE October! Three of my favorite things are happening. Halloween, LSU football and my birthday. Yes, I consider my birthday to be a full on event.

As much as I love cute dresses, sandals and wedges. Fall fashion has so much more to offer. I LOVE hats, tights, boots, and coats. I don't like being too cold but a little chill in the air isn't terrible.

Lately I have been very into nail polish. I get on that kick every once in a while and Im having a lot of fun with that now. I figure we can kick off Fall trends with what we are see in in the new nail polish collections.

This Fall the catwalks were bursting with texture. Sequins, Velvet, Tweed, Satin! This texture translates well with glitter and sparkle in polishes with metallic finishes. The colors you will see are somewhat earthy inspired but not specifically earth tones. This collection is more future-forward but not so much futuristic. The texture is all about adding depth and interest to your look.

These Butter London polishes are $14 each.

color:  Trustafarian (a spoiled rich kid who pretends to be a hippy but goes home to daddy's mansion on the weekend).  Sage green with a gold holographic finish.

Color: Lovely Jubbly  (Brit speak for excellent, like when you have a stroke of good luck).  A vibrant magenta with flecks of gold, red and blue micro particles. Channeling a 70s feel, the sultry glitter gives a high impact sparkle.
Color: Gobsmacked (to be totally speechless). Heavily pigmented charcoal grey with a slightly textured finish.
Color:  Shag (Brit slang for "knocking boots"). High shine metallic lacquer in a burgundy orange shade.  Think fallen leaves.
Color: Dodgy Barnett (a bad hairdo).   Slightly holographic shade that blurs the line between grey and silver.

What is your favorite? I think I will need them all. Maybe Butter London would sponsor a giveaway for us. Would you like that?
