You will often see photos posted on there from weddings that we have recently done. I LOVE to show off my beautiful clients. Today, we are going to take a slight detour. Today is my 1 year anniversary. I can't believe it has been a year. I also can't believe it has taken me a year to share these. In my defensive, I have been a very busy newlywed.
Let's have a little flashback, shall we?
People ask me all of the time, who did my makeup for my wedding. Well, of course I did! I had my hair done by Savannah at Rocket Science Beauty Bar. It stayed for about 36 hours, until I finally took it down.
Every bride feasts on yummy beignets the morning of her wedding...right?
Oh, what is that? Of course it is a parade in from of our hotel. Does this make me the queen?
This was the most wonderful cake I have ever eaten. It was also beautiful! They designed it to match my dress. Great job!
This guy, signing and playing guitar for our ceremony music, he is kind of a big deal. Bryan Ray, singer/songwriter/music genius. Bryan and my husband are childhood friends so it was really special to have him share his talents as part of our ceremony. Thanks, Bryan.
Jill and Kristen, the most incredible Maid/Matron(s) of Honor that I could have ever dreamed of. I LOVE these girls and Im so thankful that they were a part of this experience with me.
Jeff and I, having a moment with our parents before the ceremony got kicked off.
I absolutely love this photo. We are getting ready to sign the katubah.
We do love to shake our groove things.
Photo booths are so fun! These pink flamingos are totally an inside joke to our old Spanish Town days. Thanks, Cydney for bringing the best props ever!
Instead of a grooms cake, I had a snow ball stand. Well, an "adult" snow ball stand. You haven't lived until you have spiked a snowball with rum!
I still have nightmares about this chair lifting business. I think I blacked out for a minute, right after I threatened all their lives if they dropped me. So scary!
After second lining with Rebirth, we got splashed with confetti on the way to the car.
And we rode off into the Super Moon. Yes, it was a rare and magical night. The super moon is when the moon appears the largest and is closest to the earth. This had not happened in almost 20 years. The last time was 1993, which was also my cousin's wedding day.
Happy Anniversary to all the Super Moon couples out there!
Thank you Jason Cohen for these beautiful photographs.
